J6 Portable Message handling sessions

The Saint Lucian J6 Portable Group have started a refesher ‘course’ for message handling. The First session was Wednesday 26 July. It was held on air, on 145.530 /145.630 and Echolink. Locally we had J66CD J69CU J69BB J69B J66SJ J66YAZ J66EX, The group was joined by the Barbaods Fox Hunting Group, 8P6SL 8P6PE 8P6JB 8P6AI 8P6QA 8P6FB and we had VP2EIH via echolink.
The presentation was done by J69B with J69DS as ‘net control’. The sessions will continue on Wednesday at 8 Pm local time. Anybody within hearing of our stations is welcome to join. It is aimed at getting us operators ready to handle traffic the correct way and be versed in doing it so that when the time comes we will be ready to serve our region.
