Hurricane Irma #1

Hurricane Irma is set to a truly dangerous  one! it is coming at the Caribbean Islands and it does not seem to want to go into the blue waters at this time.

keep an eye on this monster, it is already a category 3 hurricane!

Follow it on

NHC http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

Also when it is closer on 14.325 mHz usb the Hurricane Net when it is activated
Of course 3.815 mHz lsb or 7.162 mHz lsb for the Caribbean Emergency and Weather net which will also be activated  when appropriate to be on full time.

Be prepared, make sure to have fuel for the genset, water to drink and food. Do not leave loose items lying around the yard etc etc

CEWN is always looking for net control stations. please use the contact form under the Net Control menu item to apply. In times of emergency this is a very important position. It might just be the only way to communicate right after a disaster.
